The walls lurched uncertainly.
The hollow of the plaster room was so solid and unchanging, yet at the same time, so distant and insecure. The space inside seemed warped, like somehow, the place wasn't real. Like a distorted memory, so wretched by denial and obsession that it gets twisted into something entirely different, while remaining exactly the same.
Even the air seemed to be a different shape.
From a bare wooden cot in the middle of the room, two hands slowly reached up. The hands were tiny and chubby, and waved unstably, almost if attempting to grab the ceiling, or just some sense of where it was.
Slowly... in the silence of the room...
The deafening silence...
deafening...
Shou's head snapped up, his eyes firing with shock as his ears registered the noise. Yes, he had heard it.
Something had exploded nearby. Something very close indeed. He leapt up, casting Kazuhiko's mutilated corpse one last icy glance. The vacant eyes were gaping at the floor, as the jaw hung at a disconcerting angle. Shou smiled. Yes... yes... don't need to look at Shou anymore darling, time's up for you, you've done your job. Yes, yes... my sweet...
But he had definitely heard that explosion. Whatever had caused it, it would certainly be wise not to stay around to see what it was. He needed to recover slightly. Some sleep wouldn‘t do him any harm. Besides Kazuhiko, it's hardly like this piece of art needs any more perfecting. I do believe that it's time to move on... it's not like I have any need for Iijima now...
He hurried over to the window by which he had entered, and dumped his bag. Hurriedly, he shoved the army knife back inside, leaving the derringer behind. He held the shotgun in his hand as he put the strap of the bag around his shoulder, and opened up the window. The first thing Shou noticed was how cold it was outside. A slight breeze swept in, causing him to shudder.. The second thing was how much darker it had got outside in the relatively short amount of time Shou had spent having his way with Kazuhiko.
He slowly began to clamber back out of the window, allowing him to drop down to the floor, bending his knees as he landed on the soft fresh grass. It wasn't a particularly long drop, and Shou was a tall boy, so normally it wouldn't have phased him, but under his breath, he cursed for the cut in his leg. He could handle the pain easily enough... it was just that he didn't want to deal with pain in the first place. No more fucking pain.
The tree border was not far off though, and with the shotgun still in hand, Shou set off at a sprint, disappearing into the greenery in hardly any time at all.
One moment, a flash of hair, or an image of a tall boy in women's clothes. The assailant that had killed Kazuhiko so violently. The next moment, gone without a trace. Vanished into the shadows and the darkness from which he had emerged. The deadly assassin, off into the consuming night.
Into the forest he ran, swatting the branches out of the way angrily. Three more kills to go.
Seven out of Ten.
At last report there were 18 to go, and that was most definitely now 17. Possibly more, as there had been an explosion at the lighthouse.
And then there was the simple fact that the entire gang were still alive as far as Shou knew. The numbers were beginning to get dangerously low. The longer he waited, the less people there would be. And those surviving later on would be the harder to kill. At least, that was what you'd think, but people like Noriko and Chisato were still alive.
Shou smiled. The smile was more forced than felt, and didn't really look sincere. Instead, the act was beginning to slip, as Takimura and Tsukioka conflicted with each other. Though his mouth was grinning, his eyes remained unfeeling and drowsy.
Only three more to go.
And then Yuana... then

Hey darlings! It's the last day before the crappy trip, and I'm updating from the library. Not that I'm suposed to, but the new librarian is a guy, and Mitsuko is browsing some random books (I think about drugs? I'm not sure) and he keeps perving at her. He's so gonna get slapped! ha ha
Anyway, me and Yuka have a bet on which one of us will be first to bed Shogo. ... So, I recalled how everyday he seems to have a drink from the water fountain in the hall. Yeah, the one everyone uses. I put the drugs in there! Any guys that have a drink are going to suddenly turn seriously suggestable and have a boner for... a long time afterwards!!! Don't you just love school! I hope to hell that Kazuhiko or Kiriyama have some! And Shogo of course!

So we had the best party last night! Turns out that Kiri chan, Mitsuru, Ryuhei and Hiroshi didn't turn up! *offended face* You mean... they have better things to do than wear dresses and put on makeup and dance to rock music about sex? Ugh...
Well, Hirono came over first, and we dyed her hair! Darlings, it looks absolutely stunning! And the clothes I got her to 'buy' match so well! But we knew that before didn't we? ;)
Then Yoshimi and Mitsuko came over, and we danced around to +D'espairsRay+ for a while (though Mitsuko didn't seem that up for dancing. Then there are a few hours I can't remember for fuck... I don't actually know what time it is now. I think I might be missing school but I don't know. Anyway, if I am, then that means school trip tomorrow. If not then we've got one day to go through! I'm seriously going to be comming onto everything... I'm so outta it!
